In Studio Training
I find a hard time just going to the gym by myself and finding a routine that works well for me, but I found success in workout classes. That’s when I joined RippedPHL about two years ago. I started on classpass and found that I enjoyed the classes so much that I wanted to become a full member! I have a desk job, so to keep myself active, I try to make it to the 5:30pm ripped classes at least 4 times a week. The instructors are so personable and I love the way they cheer you on in class. I hate cardio and I can barely run for 5 minutes straight, but hearing the instructor’s supportive words keeps me motivated to keep pushing through the sets. I started off at Ripped with 5 lb weights and I’ve been consistently hitting the 15-20 lbs! I still do 10 lbs for the arm raises though, but I’ll get stronger next year.
2019 is going to be a crazy year for me. A bunch of my friends are getting married and my best friend asked me to be her bridesmaid next September. In addition to the weddings, my boyfriend is a runner and he wants us to do the Broad Street run and the Philadelphia Half Marathon. I’m going to push myself harder in class and hopefully set a personal record for these runs! 2018 was good to me, but here’s to an even better, stronger 2019!
